Well, Emily had her fill of fun, excitement, activities, friends, and family yesterday on the 4th. Too late last night when we got home to do a post so here goes!

We started out the holiday with the annual Ridgefield Parade with JuJu, Titi, Belen, Ava, and Kara. The girls were very excited to catch all of the candy that gets thrown from the parade participants. They enjoyed cotton candy, shaved ice, licorice, sidewalk chalk, and dancing, all before the parade even started.
It was great when, over the speaker system, they asked for all kids to come to the corner where the two streets meet and do some line dancing. They loved it, and Emily had a blast trying to keep up with the big girls!
We always park our cars at my stepsister Sherry's house, so we all got to see grandpa, grandma, Sherry, Linsey, and Karley, as well as have a place to potty if need be that was close to where we had our chairs!
Once the parade began, the girls stood the entire time just waiting for that next bunch of candy to be thrown! Emily LOVED the bands, animals, trains, characters, and of course ALL THE CANDY!
After the parade, Emily fell asleep in the car on the way home and took a very long nap before we headed over to Titi and Uncle Larry's for lots more fun! We got to spend time with all of the Kingsellas and the Martinez clan. It was GREAT to see Evangeline before she headed off to college today in Arizona! Good Luck Evangeline!
Belen, Isabel, and Emily all had a blast playing upstairs, in the backyard, and of course doing their pop it's or snaps! Emily loves those. After a delicious dinner, thank you Lisa, we got to have a GREAT fireworks demonstration in the front yard. What fun was had by all. The most fun was just spending time with loved ones! We hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July as well!
