Gingerbread House 2012

So proud of her masterpiece!
Today Mommy and Emily did her annual gingerbread house, also known as "the cookie house." When she woke up from her nap her first sentence was, "Mommy, I did good nap. I do cookie house now?" So off we went to set up and get everything ready. She had a blast and loved licking her fingers free of frosting just as much as decorating the house!

She allowed Mommy to help spread a little of the frosting since she has a tendency to just keep spreading it in one area. Also, she let mommy do the cookie tree. We had a great time together and listened to Christmas music while we decorated.

This was the third year Emily has decorated a gingerbread house, and with each passing year she puts more and more thought into it. She really had fun and loves looking at it as a wonderful centerpiece on our dining room table!
Enjoy,

Kathy and Emily
