| Emily's Darling Dozen |
Tonight was the night to dye eggs with mommy and JuJu, and Emily had a great time. My what a difference a year makes. Last year Emily had fun, but really didn't get into it like she did tonight.
She did a dozen eggs and did all of the dunking and retrieving all by herself. She had her apron on, and we covered the table with mats, got the colors ready, and she was raring to go!
At first she would dunk them in, then want to take them right back out. Once she figured out the longer you leave them in the more vibrant the colors are, she decided it was okay to wait. We did lots of singing while we waited. We sang the alphabet, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Silent Night.
As you can see from the photos, it was a fabulous evening, and Emily is very excited for Easter, the Easter Bunny, and for her Titi and Belen to come over tomorrow for a play date!
