So HAPPY to be on the "BUS" |
On May 16th, I had the opportunity to go with Emily's class to see the stage production of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." She was soooooooo excited to ride the school bus with her friends, as they all had their car seats left by their parents in the lobby. All of us parent volunteers got to buckle in 36 car seats between the bus and the school van. She loves the book that this production was based on, and the play was absolutely darling, but a bit too long for this age group. It was approximately one hour. LOTS of wiggly 3-5 year olds by the time it was done. I truly believe that if you asked any one of them, they would say the best part was riding on a school bus in their car seats!!! To all of them it was "The BEST day EVER!!" I am so happy that I have the kind of job that I can get a substitute and go on her field trips. They are only little for so long!!
