Tonight was Emily's end of the year gathering at her school. After picking her up this afternoon, we raced home, had dinner, changed clothes, and headed back to King's Way Learning Center.
We got to make our own sundaes upon arrival, and then headed to Emily's classroom. We received her portfolio for the year, and she gave Miss Crista and Miss Lindsey their gifts, which of course they loved!
After we looked at the portfolio, Emily had a blast running around the classroom with her friend, while the adults chatted and watched them have so much fun!
I have included some pictures from her portfolio. I could have included them all, but just picked a few favorites!
Be sure to click on the pictures to see them bigger size. Especially the one of the Farm story. Miss Crista said that story was made up entirely by the kids. Each child got to make up a part. Emily's part was about the farmer sleeping. Also, Emily's story about the caterpillar is too darn cute!
