Riding with one hand already

Emily got a new bike for her birthday this past October. We have tried to get her to ride it many times since, and it has been a battle up until this past Monday. Since there was no school, Emily had a play date with Kira and Kayla. Kira wanted to give Emily the bike she had outgrown (the next size up for Emily). So off we headed for our play date with Emily's bike in the car. Well, who would've known.  All it took was seeing Kira and Kayla ride their bikes, and Emily was off and peddling up and down the street, turning corners, falling off twice and getting right back on, and more. She LOVED it, as we had been trying to tell her. Whenever she would get frustrated and want to get off her bike before this day, we would try and tell her how much fun bike riding was etc., but she never understood until today! Her smile couldn't have been any bigger! Totally precious! I know there is a lot more bike riding in her future!
